Girls Week

So three of my best friends all received mission calls late this last year, and all leave within the next month. Josie leaves TOMORROW. I am going to miss them all like crazy.
I tried relentlessly to convince them to come spend a week in Sexy Rexy with Sam and I, and.... it worked!! I went down to Powell the day of Josie's farewell and then she, Kierstyn and Lauren all rode back to Rexburg with me for a full week of take-over-all-of-Sam's-space time. It was great. And
so, without further ado, here is our week in photos.

See that llama back there? Apparently this adorable mini village that we saw just outside of Bridger MT was actually a llama colony. The girls saw it off the road and yelled for me to turn, so naturally, I slammed on the brakes and turned (terrifying).  These adorable houses were the discovery.

Cause even llamas go to church.

Window washing ^^

Dish washing. ^^
This was Lu. All week. She's a saint.

Checking out the blogs I follow

And this was Sam all week: hiding... :) He's the best. Seriously. He let three extra girls come live for a week (none too quietly) and was perfectly happy about it all. I've got the best husband.

One day after I finished class, Kierstyn, Lu, and I went to check out campus. (Josie was with cousins) I don't remember if we ever did find the "heart of campus".

I have so many more pics of plants from this day. I seriously restrained myself. Be grateful ;)
But seriously, how cool is this flower! ^^

I spy.... ^^^

We also totally ran into Savannah. We were so close to missing her, but it was so fun to see her!

The Spori art gala. This university is the coolest.

I don't really get this. I'm missing something here... ^^
And that was our campus tour.

Bachelor night!! ^^

Some girl's final words (and tears) before going home.

One morning, I snap chatted all the girls after I left for class to see if they were awake. These were the responses I got in order. Too good not to share. Mind you, this was pretty late haha.

Only because she had a date... ;)

Hahaha! That photo on the right was our go to make fun of photo for the rest of the week. Love you Lu!

And then they received this... The late nights were KILLING me.

The late mornings were probably in large part due to late nights like this. Sorry neighbors. And dear husband.

The Cupcake puzzle. We loved it. We hated it. We fought over it.
We bonded over it (ok, that one's stretching it a little).

Hide-and-go seek in the dark, dark bathroom. Good memories. We did this as kids until we were banned because we kept breaking things in my mom's bathroom....

Sam. What a gem.

Our cups. We have PLAYA (Lu); Josie, literally; I wanna see (me); Kierstyn aka KILLA.
Ah yeah.

True feelings on the thing. Truth right here:
Lauren did a lot.
I did nearly as much.
Josie and Kierstyn contributed a little.
The joy of having a blog is that I get the last argument. Aw yeah baby.

Milhollow.
Mmmmmm....
Sam was there too haha

Uhh.... This is for documentation of our epic DI trip only.

#sisterhoodofthetravelingjumper
Tried to convince Kierstyn to leave this with me... no go
Actually, I tried to get them to leave all their extra clothes with me while they're gone...
No one would ever agree darn it.

Ice Skating.

He really did have fun. Just hates the pictures :)

Cocoa trip after ice skating. Apparently I was really loving Josie. Or at least being in control of here hehe. Actually I'm really not sure what's going on in this photo.

And some post trip Snaps. Love these girls! They will be fabulous missionaries!! I'll miss them tons, but I know that someone else needs them more than I do for now. Chile, Indiana, and California sure are lucky. Love you guys! Thanks for such a great week!

  1. I've never been so flattered to see such unflattering photos of myself.
