Picnic Date

I'm taking a class on GPS. It's one credit, and really I'm only taking it because I was one credit short of my requirement :)
We had an assignment due a few weeks ago that involved running around campus taking pictures of things and collecting coordinate points and geocaching.
I thought it sounded like fun, so I asked Sam to come along. We decided to have a picnic and make a date out of it. We didn't take a lot of super cute or fabulous pictures, but it was fun, and I want to remember it. So here we go.
We went to the gardens and had pb&j's and pepperoni and cake. We talked and told dramatic stories and laughed and it was the best time. Also, I forgot to pack forks. So we had to document the graceful  cake eating.

And then we wandered around campus and found things. This assignment would have taken me like six hours to do alone because my sense of direction? Not so hot. Sam was my saving grace. Man I love that guy. And I love that he  knows stuff and is good at things. I'd be lost without him (literally and figuratively ;)

Some happy people gave us happy balloons with candy inside them. With pens attached. Free pens.

The happy people were pretty contagious.

Also, it was still cold in Rexburg, but these little flowers had popped up everywhere, and I LOVE them. And Sam kindly walks the long way everywhere so we can look at them up close.

Geocaching surprises and nice rocks. Haha.

More lovely flowers.

More geocaching finds :) And this business card? Awesome.

It was the perfect afternoon. Fun and simple and I loved it.
It really is the best to be married to your best friend :)
Love,
Tellese
