Wasco Sunday Drive

Last night we went on a  Sunday drive to this little town called Wasco that grows 55% of the world’s roses! We just missed their rose festival, but Sam saw a field while he was at work one day, and we decided we were going to find some rose fields anyway! 

We explored around a little and ended up finding a couple fields. 

This first one looks like a bunch of weeds are growing in them right? 

Nope, all rose bush foliage right there. 

I thought these ones ^ looked super cool with their darker edges

The other field we found was the coolest with rows of beautifully pruned roses that we think they’re growing for seed.

Pretty sure he's reaching out for me to give back his phone, but I'm just gonna say he's reaching for me :) 

It was such a good way to spend a Sunday evening,  and it seriously made me feel like the most special person in the world. So glad Sam was on the lookout (because he was) and found these fields! He was such a sport taking pictures and being in pictures. (He agreed to be in 10% of them... I think I got more than that :) I think he's realizing that they may never go away.
And he even stole a rose for me hehehe ;)
