A group of UW dancers came and danced in the library. It was pretty casual, so Sarah and I were sitting on a couch right by them. Like RIGHT by them. Sometimes they were behind us. Not too awkward, but there was one part of the dance, and one of the girls was doing a pose right in front of us. She was facing us and had a pretty serious face. But then we made eye contact. For a few seconds. And I tried so hard not to laugh, but I started to break. And then she did too. And she couldn't hold her smile back. Finally (fortunately) she turned away. But then she came back. I decided to spare her and look away.
Sarah checking out my biology notebook. It does't sound funny, but it really was. (She claims she was just looking at it :)
The other day in Biology, my professor (who is older but still cool-in that, "Biology is so cool!" sort of way :) was talking about hypertonic and hypotonic solutions. He said he had a friend who was in her twenties and super worried about her weight, so she drank a LOT of water. Here he paused and said, "One message I wish I could send to you in a non-creepy way is that you cannot be unattractive at twenty years old. You are all beautiful people." The whole class started laughing, to which he said he just couldn't say it without sounding creepy. Thank you, Dr. Prather.
I put my backpack on and was trying to get my hair unstuck from it. And because I may or may not have wanted to have my hair blowing in the wind... Anyway, I flipped my hair dramatically. Maybe a little too dramatically because I lost my balance, almost fell off the sidewalk, and almost fell over.
Walking into the dining hall I grabbed the door handle and completely missed it. I don't think anyone saw, but I felt like a bit of a fool. :)
I obviously need to work on this whole picture taking thing. Also, thank you Sarah for proof-reading. You're the best :) Anyway, I hope this makes you laugh :)
